Senior Finance Controller

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and variance analysis
• Oversee cost accounting and maintain ERP standard cost systems, including BOMs and variances
• Support pricing on RFQs and long-term contracts
• Manage 13-week cash flow forecasting and banking relationships
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, ITAR, EAR, DCAA, and FAR/DFARS
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for multi-site operations
• Manage daily accounting functions including journal entries, financial statements, and tax compliance
• Oversee physical inventory with a target variance of less than 0.5%
• Drive ERP and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience
• 5+ years of experience specifically within aerospace manufacturing
• Minimum 5 years in a Controller or similar senior leadership role
• Deep expertise in standard costing, labor burden, and WIP valuation
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Syteline, Epicor, Oracle) and Excel financial modeling
• Eligibility for ITAR compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or MBA designation
• Hands-on experience with DCAA audits and FAR Part 31 cost allowability
• Experience with QuickBooks and Power BI
• Success implementing paperless AP/AR systems
• Experience with shop-floor data collection systems
