Senior Finance & Accounting Ops Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process end-to-end and manage outsourced bookkeeping partners
• Manage revenue recognition under ASC 606 for SaaS contracts
• Oversee Accounts Payable via Ramp and manage Accounts Receivable/collections
• Coordinate payroll and benefits with HR and PEO teams
• Maintain accounting policies and internal controls in QuickBooks Online
• Manage SaaS sales tax and nexus compliance
• Build audit-ready documentation for future financial statement audits
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning with the CFO
• Manage cash, treasury, and runway modeling
• Track and analyze SaaS metrics including ARR, NRR, and CAC
• Prepare materials for investor updates and board reporting
• Evaluate and implement new finance tools and systems
• Hire and mentor the first members of the accounting team

Requirements

• 4-5 years of total finance or accounting experience
• 2-3 years at a Big Four firm, ideally in audit
• 1-2 years of industry experience at a startup (Series A or B preferred)
• SaaS experience with exposure to ASC 606 and SaaS metrics
• Strong command of accounting fundamentals and monthly close processes
• Ability to manage outsourced partners and drive technical resolutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Active or in-progress CPA
• Experience implementing or improving finance systems
• Exposure to equity and cap table administration via Carta
• Experience mentoring or managing direct reports
