Senior Filing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize workers’ compensation case files for filing
• Accurately enter and update data in the case management system
• Perform administrative tasks related to pre-filing case preparation
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and filing requirements
• Conduct workers’ compensation coverage searches
• Communicate with attorneys and support staff to obtain missing or incomplete case information
• Maintain organized and up-to-date filing records, both physical and electronic
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by supervising attorneys

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a legal, insurance, or workers’ compensation environment preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Familiarity with case management software
