About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and modify autonomous vehicle platforms including trucks, trailers, and autonomous systems
- Repair modular sub-systems and related harnesses on the bench and in-vehicle
- Inspect and certify the operational health of trucks, trailers, and autonomous platforms
- Collaborate with design and validation engineers to aid hardware system development
- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and upkeep programs
- Support material staging and workflow readiness for field teams
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Coordinate replenishment and distribution of maintenance consumables
Requirements
- Ability to read and implement Electrical Harness Diagrams and Mechanical Prints
- Experience with specialized electrical and mechanical tooling (wire crimpers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, torque wrenches)
- Proficiency with diagnostic instrumentation and failure analysis
- Strong hands-on background in inspecting and identifying defects in complex systems
- Meticulous work habits using checklists and protocols
- Clear communication skills for providing technical feedback to engineers
- Flexibility for daytime, night, and weekend shifts
- Experience in the energy sector is a bonus
