Senior Field Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical resource and liaison for HVAC contractors, distributors, and manufacturer representatives.
• Provide expert technical guidance via phone, email, and case management to resolve escalated system issues.
• Interpret wiring schematics and refrigerant circuit diagrams to assist customers with troubleshooting.
• Conduct onsite service, technical training, and installation support for all LG HVAC equipment.
• Manage regional service support strategies through the LG Preferred Service Champion Program.
• Perform critical software and hardware updates to equipment in the field or inventory.
• Develop technical training materials and conduct sessions in both classroom and jobsite settings.
• Review and analyze the application of VRF Commercial, Residential, and Light Commercial (RLC) systems.

Requirements

• 15-20 years of experience in the HVAC field or in a technical support role.
• 3-5 years of experience specifically supporting LG VRF & RLC systems in a technical support capacity.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.
• Expertise in reading and interpreting wiring schematics and refrigerant circuit diagrams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse client groups.

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC Vocational Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Associate’s Degree.
• Proven experience setting goals and executing regional service support strategies.
