Senior Field Sourcing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated sourcing and value generation services for assigned business units or operational zones.
• Coordinate the sourcing process, including managing RFQs, evaluating and qualifying suppliers, and negotiating prices and contract terms.
• Mitigate commercial risks by verifying supplier safety pre-selection, compliance, and insurance policies.
• Support large investments, maintenance projects, and plant shutdowns (TAR) through budget integration and supply planning.
• Document and report savings, maintain updated partner lists, and manage special projects under management guidance.
• Act as an ambassador for procurement center programs, encouraging the use of approved umbrella contracts and identifying long-term agreement opportunities.
• Resolve supplier quality and performance issues to support internal customers.

Requirements

• Completed university degree.
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing/operations procurement OR 2 years in operational routines with a strong commercial background.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience within Supply Chain structures.
• Availability for occasional visits to industrial plants.
