Senior Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, repair, and conduct hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical testing of submersible wastewater pumps
• Troubleshoot electrical control panels and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
• Perform equipment start-ups and provide technical training to customers
• Execute preventative maintenance and respond to emergency callouts
• Operate service trucks equipped with cranes and out-riggers, as well as industrial equipment like forklifts and overhead cranes
• Maintain accurate records within the work order management system
• Ensure a safe and organized working environment at customer locations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 to 5 years of technical or mechanical work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the use of smart devices
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the water or wastewater industry
• Background in HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, diesel/mechanical systems, or construction
