Senior Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Identify complex customer and machine problems and implement strategic solutions
• Evaluate and analyze conversion and retrofit needs
• Provide technical support and training for Signode technicians
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics for installation and repair
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic equipment failures
• Coordinate proactive pre-installation meetings with customers and inspect sites for compatibility
• Solve and repair advanced-level PLC issues
• Design and conduct training programs for repair and preventive maintenance
• Identify conversion and retrofit opportunities and notify relevant parties for quotes
• Maintain effective customer relationships through diplomatic communication regarding product failures and corrective actions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Automation Engineering
• 8 years of transferable experience in equipment/machine maintenance
• Advanced English proficiency
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, PLC, and HMI systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional technical courses in electrical, mechanical, or automation (SENAI or similar institutions)
