Senior Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in site surveys and site implementation for all valve-related initiatives
• Troubleshoot valve and control instrument issues at customer sites
• Conduct valve repair work both in-house and at customer locations
• Collaborate with the customer service team to schedule and prepare execution plans for service jobs
• Work with the Final Control Group to generate root cause analysis reports for customers
• Identify opportunities at sites to create sales leads for Emerson products, services, and solutions
• Proactively sell maintenance contracts to customers
• Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety rules and the use of personal protective equipment

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of control valves, on/off valves, actuators, and control/instrumentation
• Proven problem-solving skills and a task-oriented mindset
• Ability to travel on short notice
• Strong rapport-building skills with customers, vendors, and internal associates
• Ability to work effectively as a team player

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering
• At least 4 years of related experience, preferably in the instrumentation, process, or service industry
• Experience in service operations or mechanical/electrical maintenance
• Possession of a Class 3 driving license
