Senior Field Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Regional Director to develop goals, objectives, and policies for the renewable generation O&M division
• Oversee facility operations to ensure high levels of health, safety, and environmental performance
• Conduct regular plant visits and manage site or staffing issues promptly
• Drive employee development and implement long-term succession planning
• Oversee operations and staff during new project construction and the transition to commercial operations
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate employee performance
• Develop and manage business strategies to optimize site profitability and cost management
• Ensure compliance with all relevant internal controls

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in plant operations, including performance monitoring and maintenance
• 3+ years of management experience in electric power generation, industrial operations, or project management
• Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and labor laws, as well as contract and permit compliance
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other Enterprise Management Systems
• Ability to travel 60-70% within the region
• Strong oral and written communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical competence and recent experience regarding renewable energy generation
• Previous experience as a Plant or Regional generation manager
