Senior Field Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, installation, and maintenance of mission-critical infrastructure, including datacenters, servers, and networks.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance for Windows/Linux servers, Juniper networks, VMware/vCenter virtualization, and video surveillance systems.
• Monitor system performance using tools like Zabbix or Nagios to diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents.
• Support pre-sales engineering by responding to RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, creating technical designs (FDD), and developing Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Supervise external providers and ensure all technical procedures comply with strict cybersecurity guidelines.
• Provide on-site field support, including coverage analysis and interference resolution for radio systems.

Requirements

• University degree in Telecommunications, IT, or Electronics Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in telecommunications and IT, covering the full project lifecycle (pre-sales and post-sales).
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration and VMware/vCenter environments.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (VPN, SIP, SNMP) and hardware (firewalls, routers, switches).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Nagios.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Santa Fe, availability for on-call shifts, and willingness to travel (over 50% travel required).
