Senior Field Application Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary scientific and technical authority for customers in CAR-T, cell therapy development, and GMP/GxP environments
• Advise on CST product selection meeting GMP, ISO 13485, and quality standards, including assay validation and comparability studies
• Provide expert pre- and post-sales technical guidance from discovery to clinical manufacturing and Quality Control
• Partner with regional commercial teams to identify high-value opportunities within the Cell and Gene Therapy sector
• Deliver technical presentations and drive product adoption to meet territory budgetary goals
• Cultivate a KOL network and facilitate collaborations between customers and CST R&D
• Collaborate with Global Marketing and R&D to influence the product roadmap

Requirements

• PhD or Master's in Cell Biology, Immunology, or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in or supporting GMP/GxP environments within biopharma
• Hands-on experience in assay development, validation, or manufacturing support
• Deep technical knowledge of CAR-T cell manufacturing processes
• Strong understanding of regulatory expectations in clinical development
• Proven ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse stakeholders
• Experience in an international business environment
• Ability to travel frequently in the field (>60%)
• Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior sales experience and commercial mindset
• Experience with confocal and fluorescent microscopy
• Ability to analyze and respond to regional sales and revenue trends
