About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the customer-facing technical owner for robotics opportunities, including humanoid robots, AGV/AMR platforms, and drones.
- Engage with customers to understand system architectures, identify technical pain points, and translate them into solution proposals.
- Support system-level solution definition across compute, real-time control, motion control, sensing, and networking.
- Work with R&D, product, and sales teams to develop customer-centric architectures and influence product roadmaps.
- Provide technical support for hardware bring-up, embedded software debugging, and system-level issue resolution.
- Deliver technical workshops, demos, and training to promote the adoption of reference designs, SDKs, and embedded platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in embedded systems, semiconductor technical support, robotics electronics, or industrial automation.
- Strong understanding of robotics systems such as humanoid robots, AMR, or drones.
- Solid knowledge of MCU/MPU architectures and embedded software including C/C++, RTOS, and Linux.
- Proficiency with communication protocols such as Ethernet, EtherCAT, CAN, SPI, and I2C.
- Strong customer communication skills and the ability to manage cross-functional projects.
- Willingness to travel and proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in industrial automation or UAV development.
- Familiarity with industrial networking standards like TSN or CANopen.
- Hands-on experience with NXP or similar embedded platforms.
