About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process subcontractor invoices, closeout documentation, and certified payrolls for federal subcontracts
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and subcontract terms
- Validate invoicing supports allowable, allocable, and reasonable costs
- Track and monitor all incoming, approved, rejected, and outstanding invoices and payrolls
- Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized, auditable electronic files in compliance with federal record-retention requirements
- Support subcontract closeout activities and confirm submission of all required documentation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or a related field
- Five or more years of relevant experience
- Experience in invoice verification and payment processing for US Federal Projects
