Senior Fashion Correspondent

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead editorial voice for GQ, covering the global fashion industry with an emphasis on menswear, luxury, and celebrity style
• Deliver 1-2 pieces per week for GQ.com, including newsletters, web-first reporting, and original journalism
• Produce a variety of content including news scoops, trend stories, criticism, profiles, and deep-dive essays for both print and digital platforms
• Build and maintain high-level relationships with designers, publicists, executives, and stylists to secure exclusive access and reporting opportunities
• Collaborate with social, video, and editorial teams to create cross-platform storytelling and real-time coverage of major fashion moments
• Represent GQ as a brand ambassador at international fashion weeks, industry events, and tentpole moments like Men of the Year
• Travel internationally as required to cover major industry events and runway shows

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience covering fashion for a major media brand or publication
• Strong reporting skills with a proven ability to break news and develop deep industry sources
• Deep knowledge of the global fashion industry, specifically menswear and luxury fashion
• Excellent writing skills across multiple formats, including criticism, profiles, and digital storytelling
• Experience working across diverse platforms including digital, social, video, and print
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven editorial environment
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for coverage assignments
