Senior Failure Analysis Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on cell and module tear-downs using manual drills and hand-held power tools
• Measure physical and electrical properties of components to identify out-of-spec operation
• Collect samples for submission to analytical testing
• Document inspection findings and summarize results in a database
• Maintain lab equipment and uphold safety standards
• Coordinate with engineers, facilities, and shipping/receiving teams
• Perform pre- and post-test analysis including visual inspections, leak tests, weld inspections, and electrical continuity checks

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a technician in a technology field
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Experience using and maintaining tools and lab instruments
• Comfort working with chemicals and wearing PPE
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with pre- and post-test analysis, inspections, and report preparation
• Proficiency with Gsuite tools (Gmail, Google Docs, etc.)
