Responsibilities

  • Debug and diagnose failed hardware, including collars and tower components, to identify root causes
  • Personally contribute to investigating high-impact or deeply ambiguous failure modes
  • Develop processes and ways of working to improve accuracy and reduce no-fault-founds
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to expand their technical knowledge and failure analysis approach
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, production, supplier quality, and networking teams
  • Support the recruitment process to build a high-performing technical team

Requirements

  • Deep electronics engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience debugging complex hardware
  • Experience diagnosing field failures and relating in-field events to product failures
  • Excellent communication skills for translating technical findings to cross-functional teams
  • Strong sense of ownership and a bias for action
  • Principled approach to finding root causes with clear evidence
