Senior Faculty Practice Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Columbia Dental Faculty Practice, overseeing daily operations at the flagship 51st Street location and providing coordination across additional sites.
• Supervise front-end, support, and hygiene staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Manage patient flow, provider schedules, and insurance verification processes to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee financial operations, including billing, collections, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and vendor payments.
• Implement operational policies, cross-training strategies, and infection control protocols to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Manage facility operations, including equipment assessment, supply ordering, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training, and experience.
• At least four years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven supervisory and personnel management experience.
• Experience in medical or dental billing and collections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in physician billing and reimbursement processes.
• Bilingual language skills.
