About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot building infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, and life safety systems
- Perform preventative maintenance routines and repairs to ensure zero network failures and an optimal working environment
- Operate and monitor mechanical and electrical equipment such as power generators, UPS, transfer switches, and chillers
- Analyze and troubleshoot building system alarms and respond to tenant service requests in a timely manner
- Assist with project management tasks, including design development, construction activities, and equipment commissioning
- Maintain organized mechanical and electrical rooms and manage stock of vital consumable components
- Support the development of Emergency Operations Procedures (EOP), Health and Safety programs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Requirements
- Building Environment Systems (BES) or Building System Engineering Technology diploma (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Valid Refrigeration Mechanic license (313 A) OR Electrician license (309A or 442A)
- Valid Class G driver's license
- Intermediate knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and building infrastructure maintenance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Digital Control Systems (DCS)
- Ability to work autonomously, make prompt decisions under pressure, and communicate clearly
- Physical capability to lift heavy weights, climb ladders, and work in restricted spaces
