Senior Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead maintenance teams or vendors during routine PMs, projects, and new roll-outs
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production, lab utility, and facility equipment
• Diagnose, repair, and test systems, parts, and components to ensure safe operational conditions
• Conduct routine rounds to monitor equipment and detect faulty operations
• Support the development of Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Calibration tasks and procedures
• Oversee projects and repairs performed by outside vendors and contractors
• Support quality audits, CAPAs, deviations, and GMP investigations
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain a safe, clean work environment

Requirements

• 5 years of advanced electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, or system repair experience
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, controls, and drives
• Knowledge of LOTO, hotwork, heights, and NFPA70E safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, manuals, and drawings
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to participate in an on-call rotation
• Proven leadership and management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering discipline or completion of a craft apprenticeship
• Experience in the life science or medical device industry
• Licensure in Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or PLC
• Experience with industrial manufacturing involving hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment
• Knowledge of 5S/6S techniques and Lean Manufacturing skills
• Familiarity with CAD/Solidworks or MS Project
