Senior Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute facility improvements, expansions, and maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC
• Assist with installation and modification of production workstations, clean rooms, and material handling systems
• Inspect lighting and fixtures for code compliance
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, utilities, and hardware
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Identify building safety hazards and coordinate with vendors
• Obtain required facility permits for compliance
• Execute 5S solutions as directed by Operations
• Manage construction and tenant improvements and coordinate with landlords for exterior repairs
• Respond to emergency situations and resolve facility issues quickly

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction trades or facilities roles
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to operate mobile equipment including forklifts and scissor lifts
• Ability to handle physical workload including lifting up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work flexible hours
