Senior Facilities Generalist

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance, functionality, and structural integrity of facility buildings and grounds.
• Perform repairs to walls, ceilings, doors, flooring, and windows, including drywall patching and painting.
• Execute flooring repairs such as carpet tile replacement and vinyl flooring restoration.
• Conduct routine building inspections to identify maintenance needs and deficiencies.
• Perform minor carpentry work, including the installation of shelving, cabinets, and hardware.
• Coordinate and oversee external contractors performing maintenance and renovation work.
• Manage work orders and maintain accurate records within the CMMS system.
• Support office, laboratory, and warehouse renovations and small capital improvement projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or pharmaceutical building maintenance.
• Proficiency in painting, drywall finishing, and flooring repairs.
• Experience with ceiling tile and grid systems.
• Basic carpentry and concrete patching skills.
• Proficiency using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade certifications in carpentry, construction, or facilities maintenance.
• Experience working in GMP, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or laboratory environments.
