Senior Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Translate manufacturing, process, and testing requirements into facilities specifications including electrical, network, HVAC, and fluids systems
• Own facility layout using NX or SolidWorks
• Plan and support execution of capital projects for facility upgrades and equipment installations
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to align facilities with operational goals
• Apply Lean principles to facilities design and production system development
• Support equipment selection, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
• Support EHS compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
• Support BMS rollout across the production facility

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace)
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or facilities engineering
• Proven experience designing and implementing production systems and facilities infrastructure
• Proficiency with CAD systems such as NX or SolidWorks
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering
• Experience transitioning products from design to production in fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of composites and launch vehicle manufacturing processes
• Experience with heavy equipment and large-scale lifting operations
