Senior Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural elements
• Conduct in-depth inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and develop solutions to enhance system performance
• Lead and mentor the facilities team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment
• Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal system function
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for major repairs and renovations, ensuring quality standards and budget compliance
• Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including cost estimation for repairs and upgrades
• Conduct energy audits and implement initiatives aimed at sustainability and energy efficiency
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and environmental policies
• Prepare detailed reports on facilities performance and project progress for management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on engineering roles
• Proven experience overseeing building operations and maintenance in a senior capacity
• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards
• Valid UAE driver's license
