Senior Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the Facilities Operations and Maintenance team for the Singapore plant, offices, and potentially regional sites
• Manage day-to-day operational issues and provide prompt responses to out-of-specification situations in critical manufacturing environments
• Oversee in-house and outsourced technical personnel and contractors to ensure contract fulfillment
• Sustain an automated preventative maintenance program for all facility infrastructure
• Manage operational expense budgets and resource planning
• Develop and maintain critical spares strategies, procedures, and work instructions
• Support compliance efforts for ISO, OHSAS, FDA certification programs, and EHS initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement projects to maximize system efficiency and minimize unplanned downtime

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within Biotech, Pharmaceutical, or Semiconductor environments
• Strong expertise in Facilities Systems, including ACMV and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems
• Proven experience in staff management, budget oversight, and project management
• Demonstrated leadership, troubleshooting, and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and commit to 24-hour standby and overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
