Senior Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide design and construction management services, including site space strategy and energy optimization
• Develop and manage the Facilities Financial LRP and utility budgets
• Conduct feasibility studies and implement projects through the RCE process
• Investigate state-of-the-art equipment for energy conservation and write technical specifications
• Manage vendor and contractor selection, evaluation, and coordination to minimize manufacturing downtime
• Collaborate with functional managers and operating departments to establish operating parameters and GMP environmental specifications
• Coordinate with corporate engineering departments and external consultants on project costing and scheduling

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of plant engineering experience
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment and its operation
• Working knowledge of power distribution, termination, and back-up generation equipment
• Strong understanding of electrical systems
• Analytical and negotiating skills to manage electrical rate structures and contractor agreements

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of facilities operations and general facility equipment
• Experience managing infrastructure upgrades and site improvement projects
• Proven project management skills, including timeline management, budget ownership, and resource planning
• Experience managing and coordinating multiple external vendors
