Senior Façade Engineer

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in the delivery of façade projects in a technically competent and timely manner
• Provide technical façade engineering advice to various stakeholders
• Develop high-quality façade documentation and specifications
• Communicate effectively using various digital approaches
• Research and disseminate information regarding new products and supporting literature
• Review specialist contractor submissions
• Supervise and mentor design staff, including checking and approving documentation for issue

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, or significant experience within the façade industry
• Strong experience in façade design with a detailed understanding of structure, weathertightness, fire protection, thermal performance, and durability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including report preparation
• Chartered Engineer status preferred (or currently working towards professional qualification)
• Self-motivated and team-focused with the ability to collaborate in a multi-discipline environment
