Senior Extrusion Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, optimization, and technical control of polymer extrusion processes to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.
• Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting for complex process and equipment issues.
• Coach junior engineers and provide guidance to technicians and maintenance personnel.
• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, capacity enhancement, and OEE improvement.
• Utilize statistical data analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE) for process and product improvement.
• Design or modify equipment to improve process performance and coordinate the installation of new systems.
• Implement root cause analysis (5 Whys, Ishikawa) to establish permanent solutions for long-term performance issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronic, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Advanced expertise in polymer extrusion processes.
• Proven experience with PVC, PE, and PP materials.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis and DOE.
• Strong root cause analysis skills (5 Whys, Ishikawa).
• Ability to supervise and validate critical extrusion parameters such as temperature, pressure, and speed.
