Senior External Affairs Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the South region’s External Affairs agenda.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with local government bodies, including commerce, taxation, customs, and development commissions.
• Manage strategic partnerships with industry associations, such as the China Spirits Association, to advocate for policy improvements.
• Monitor and interpret regional policies and regulations, providing timely insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Identify external issues that may impact corporate reputation and support the development of proactive response strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, PR, Marketing, and Sales to align external engagement with business goals.
• Oversee high-level events, including government summits, signing ceremonies, and official inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in external affairs, government relations, or association management.
• Proven experience working within a multinational environment.
• Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills to build lasting professional relationships.
• Excellent communication and advocacy abilities with a focus on authenticity.
• High ethical standards and a strong commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Good command of both oral and written English.
