Senior Exterior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform R&D work in exterior components design and development including plastic/metal components, bumpers, grills, and dashboards
• Provide engineering documentation such as FMEA, DTS, PD, and RFQ
• Collaborate with suppliers, SQE, and Purchasing teams to meet timing and quality standards
• Focus on cost and performance targets through creative problem-solving
• Ensure verification and homologation tests meet all legal requirements
• Oversee the full development cycle from concept to mass production, including simulation and prototype testing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant major
• Minimum 5 years of experience in exterior components design and development
• Proficiency in Catia is required
• Knowledge of data and drawing freezing processes
• Familiarity with vehicle development processes and key gate deliveries
• Fluency in English
