Senior Executive

Responsibilities

• Manage EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) by conducting daily plant rounds to identify and control potential risks and hazards.
• Lead incident and accident investigations, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive measures.
• Coordinate with the site EHS head for Safety Committee meetings and monitor daily safety work permits.
• Plan and execute site mock drills and generate comprehensive reports.
• Perform risk assessments, pre-start-up safety reviews, and evaluate changes or modifications from an EHS perspective.
• Monitor legal compliance and conduct audits of unsafe acts and conditions on the shop floor.
• Oversee the upkeep and inspection of fire and safety systems, equipment, and gadgets.
• Deliver safety and fire training/retraining to staff, operators, and contractors to foster a strong safety culture.
• Manage inventory for safety, fire, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including procurement coordination and distribution.
• Supervise and monitor the activities of Safety Engineers, Firemen, and apprentices.

Requirements

• B.Sc, M.Sc, B.E., or B.Tech degree.
• PDIS or ADIS certification.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in EHS and safety management.
