Senior Executive - Reconciliations

Responsibilities

• Run daily reconciliations across 53+ fiat and crypto payment service providers (PSPs) covering deposits, withdrawals, fees, reserves, and settlements.
• Maintain a three-way match between PSP source data, Backoffice records, and the ERP system.
• Investigate and classify discrepancies (e.g., data issues, currency mismatches, timing gaps) and drive resolution with engineering or PSPs.
• Monitor PSP data quality by checking API and automation-based data feeds for stale data or format changes.
• Partner with the AI engineering team to perform UAT testing on the AI Reconciliation platform and prioritize bug fixes.
• Support month-end closing processes, including PSP balance reconciliation and documentation of unresolved exceptions.
• Maintain detailed process documentation for data extraction and reconciliation workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in reconciliations, accounts operations, or finance operations.
• Proven experience reconciling third-party data (PSPs, banks, or external counterparties) at significant volume.
• Proficiency in SQL or BigQuery to investigate data discrepancies independently.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits/credits, opening/closing balances, and FX impact.
• Working knowledge of payment processing workflows (authorisation, capture, settlement, chargebacks, etc.).
• Basic understanding of cryptocurrency and the ability to verify on-chain transactions.
