Senior Executive Producer & Special Projects

Responsibilities

• Coach executive producers, line producers, anchors, reporters, and photojournalists
• Oversee newscast rundowns and scripts to ensure high-quality broadcast and digital content
• Respond aggressively to breaking news situations
• Lead editorial meetings and help recruit and evaluate production staff
• Oversee the investigative team and lead special projects, including documentary-style packages and special shows
• Articulate and execute a vision for impactful, insightful, and meaningful storytelling

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of producing experience
• Prior management and leadership experience
• Above average writing and communication skills
• Strong news judgment and unwavering journalistic integrity
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate crews and responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Creative presentation style with the ability to showcase all available resources
