Senior Executive, Financial Accounting & Reporting

Responsibilities

• Perform close-related ledger tasks including accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and journal postings
• Prepare ledger reports and other required documentation for Group and regulatory bodies
• Conduct accounts receivable and accounts payable activities and perform basic technical research
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting and finance procedures
• Support business decision-making through detailed financial analysis and data insights
• Act as a subject matter expert for internal projects and initiatives
• Monitor and implement automated processes using suitable technologies
• Perform and update ICFR controls in compliance with internal control guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of working experience in accounting or finance within the financial services industry
• Experience in the insurance or takaful industry is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
