Senior/Executive Director Global Medical Affairs - Breast Franchise

Responsibilities

• Provide expert medical and scientific support for the breast cancer franchise to improve patient outcomes.
• Lead and develop a team of 3-4 medical affairs professionals, providing strategic direction and mentorship.
• Formulate and execute meaningful scientific and clinical narratives for assets and evidence generation plans.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), investigators, and scientific communities.
• Identify evidence gaps and develop proposals to address them through clinical or health outcomes research.
• Shape breast cancer strategy and execution plans across the US and global markets.
• Support the acceleration of clinical trial enrollment through strategic messaging and investigator engagement.
• Collaborate with clinical development and brand teams to support pre- and post-commercialization activities.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
• Board eligibility or certification in an appropriate specialty/subspecialty.
• Completion of medical school education that meets LCME requirements.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications

• Oncology experience, specifically breast cancer tumor expertise.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a pharmaceutical or clinical research setting.
• Experience in medical affairs, drug development, or pre-launch product positioning.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 20-30%).
