About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level executive organizational and administrative support to the Senior Vice Chancellor of Administration, Economic Development, and CFO.
- Manage a complex leadership calendar, balancing conflicting priorities and scheduling appointments.
- Develop high-level documents, planning materials, reports, and presentations, including those containing financial data.
- Coordinate and implement support for high-level meetings and committees, including preparation, participant correspondence, and follow-up.
- Assist in the planning and execution of large-scale programs, events, or initiatives for the Budget, Finance, and Administrative Units.
- Manage written communication on behalf of the Senior Vice Chancellor and serve as an internal/external representative as necessary.
- Provide administrative management and supervision for the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Support budget and grant management and coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, communication, higher education administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional administrative experience supporting busy executives in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Outlook calendaring, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to draft complex reports.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience supporting senior-level executives and high-performing teams.
- Familiarity and comfort working within a college or university setting.
