Senior Events Manager, Vice President

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Events to develop an event strategy aligned with business goals
• Design and execute high-touch client events that adhere to brand standards
• Manage end-to-end operations including calendars, budgets, vendor negotiations, contracts, and invoices
• Oversee onsite delivery, including VIP guest management, vendor coordination, and audio-visual needs
• Utilize event platforms to manage communications, including invitations, microsites, and follow-ups
• Apply deep knowledge of Asia markets to recommend culturally attuned venues and formats
• Travel across the Asia region to provide essential on-site support

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in professional event management
• Proven expertise in end-to-end event delivery, from planning to onsite execution
• Strong experience managing budgets, vendor negotiations, and contract compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior leadership
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines
• Flexibility to work extended hours and travel frequently across Asia

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the financial services industry
• Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) to support local vendor relations and client communications
