Senior Event Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Field all inbound event leads and oversee the planning, selling, and execution of all contracted on and off-premise events
• Present creative food, beverage, and space solutions to meet client needs while maintaining strong negotiating skills
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and General Manager to price and execute profitable events within strict budget specifications
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and repeat clientele to drive business growth
• Assist in creating a positive brand presence by publicizing special promotions and events via social media and marketing outlets
• Collaborate with the core marketing team on ad campaigns and content to promote private events
• Track sales data and analyze trends to make recommendations for increasing sales and attendance
• Communicate event offerings and procedures to the restaurant team to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• High-volume hospitality experience
• Strong knowledge of the Chicago area and its major business landscape
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Tripleseat, OpenTable, and Toast POS
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
