Senior EV Reconditioning Technician II

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnosis and repair across high-voltage battery, charging, drivetrain, thermal, and software systems
• Resolve complex drivability, electrical, and NVH issues using OEM diagnostic software, scan tools, meters, and oscilloscopes
• Perform heavy mechanical repairs, suspension and alignment work, and ADAS calibration
• Safely service and isolate high-voltage systems in accordance with OEM and Ever procedures
• Own final quality sign-off on reconditioned vehicles before retail listing
• Read wiring diagrams and schematics and interpret CAN/LIN network faults
• Mentor and develop junior technicians, and provide feedback to leadership on process and quality
• Document diagnostics and repairs thoroughly and accurately in Ever’s internal systems
• Help build and refine Ever’s recon SOPs and quality standards as we scale
• Collaborate cross-functionally to protect cycle time without compromising quality or safety

Requirements

• 3+ years of automotive technician experience
• Hands-on diagnostic work experience
• High-voltage safety certification or ability to obtain immediately
• Proven ability to independently diagnose complex electrical and high-voltage issues
• Strong command of OEM diagnostic software and EV scan tools
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Must be 21+ to road test

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous EV OEM experience (Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, etc.)
• Experience mentoring or leading junior technicians
• ASE certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L1, L3, or L4)
• Proficiency with Autel or OEM toolboxes
