Senior ETF Capital Markets Specialist

Responsibilities

• Improve ETF execution outcomes through market structure knowledge and scalable capability building
• Develop data-driven tools, analytics, and workflows to support desk efficiency
• Build strong working relationships with liquidity providers, brokers, and exchanges
• Partner with Sales and Product teams to support ETF growth and go-to-market priorities
• Produce high-quality analysis of ETF market trends, liquidity conditions, and regulatory developments
• Represent Vanguard externally with regulators, exchanges, and industry bodies
• Mentor and coach team members to raise capability and standards

Requirements

• Extensive related work experience in Capital Markets roles on buy or sell side
• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of ETF trading, liquidity, and market structure
• Ability to communicate complex market concepts practically
• Analytical and innovative mindset using data and technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree
• UK specific qualifications such as IMC or CFA
• Experience with European Designations including MIFIDII and T&C
