Senior Estimator

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage cost plans and detailed estimates from concept through detailed design
• Present milestone cost updates and communicate basis of estimate, assumptions, and risks
• Lead quantity takeoffs and cost checks for complex CSA scopes
• Provide program-level estimating to support portfolio-level decisions
• Review contractor pricing, including bids, pay applications, and change orders
• Drive benchmarking, cost modeling, and life-cycle cost analyses
• Facilitate value engineering and develop cost/benefit options
• Support procurement and preconstruction activities
• Partner with cost management and project controls to align outputs with budgets
• Mentor and coordinate support staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
• 6-7+ years of experience in construction estimating or cost management
• Experience with large-scale programs
• Data center or mission-critical experience strongly preferred
• Expertise in conceptual estimating and quantity takeoff for CSA scopes
• Knowledge of construction procurement strategies and commercial contracts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with CostX, AutoCAD, or Navisworks is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

• MEP familiarity
• Professional accreditation such as RICS
