Senior Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil, fit-out, and multi-disciplinary construction projects
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements
• Develop competitive tender submissions and pricing strategies aligned with company objectives
• Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to ensure cost optimization and resource alignment
• Implement digital estimation tools and maintain updated cost databases
• Conduct risk analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities during the bidding process
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and UAE regulations
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, cash flow forecasts, and value engineering proposals
• Monitor market trends, material prices, and labor rates to maintain competitive advantage

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience working within a contracting company
• Strong exposure to both estimation and Quantity Surveying (QS) functions
• Proven track record managing commercial aspects of medium to large-scale projects
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and commercial frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the UAE or GCC contracting industry
• Professional certifications such as RICS or MRICS
• FIDIC training
