Senior Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare and estimate costs for tenders, identifying opportunities to minimize risk and maximize profit
• Lead and mentor the estimating team, promoting best practice and collaborative working
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate with design, planning, commercial, and bid management teams throughout the tender process
• Support the handover of projects to delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions and clear communication

Requirements

• Experience working with a Main Contractor or Tier 1 Contractor
• Proficiency in Excel and estimating software
• Experience with take-off tools such as Blue Beam
• Proven leadership experience within a pre-construction team
• Experience supporting and developing junior team members
