Senior Estimator

Responsibilities

• Review proposal specifications, drawings, and estimates to determine scope and requirements
• Provide input on estimating strategies, including profitability, risk management, and execution
• Consult with Operations to ensure accurate labour, equipment, and material pricing
• Perform quantity take-offs for structural, mechanical, and civil components
• Assist with work breakdown structures, schedules, subcontract analysis, and budget updates

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of estimating experience in piping, structural, civil, and pipeline
• Engineering degree or technical diploma
• Strong knowledge of cost estimating processes and construction methodology
• Ability to review and interpret construction drawings (P&ID, Ortho’s, Iso’s)
• Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
