Senior Estimator - Construction (MEP)

Responsibilities

• Developing cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design across multiple geographic regions
• Delivering and presenting updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones
• Providing program-level estimates for specific scopes of work
• Coordinating, managing, and supervising the work of support staff
• Reviewing proposed design changes and preparing estimates within appropriate accuracy levels
• Driving cost model trends by analyzing and summarizing cost information from completed projects
• Assessing cost effectiveness of alternate products and value engineering ideas
• Supporting training on new project estimating tools and templates
• Delivering Life Cycle Costing models

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Experience in construction cost management roles such as Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor, or Estimator
• Experience providing conceptual estimating or pre-construction services
• Experience supporting large scale construction projects and programs
• Strong knowledge of value management and value engineering
• Excellent communication skills
