About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop pre-design phase cost estimates for budget planning purposes across a range of projects
- Analyze sponsor agency needs and existing conditions to develop cost analyses
- Confirm accuracy of funding provided by sponsor agencies
- Perform joint scoping, field visits, and site logistic analysis
- Review current and archived construction documents, including technical data, drawings, and photos
Requirements
- Permanent status in the Associate Project Manager title or eligibility via specific Civil Service exams
- Experience supervising employees performing project management work on engineering or architectural projects
- Experience supervising construction projects valued at $1,000,000 or more
- Baccalaureate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field, plus required years of project management experience
- Ability to work onsite in Long Island City, NY
