Senior Estimation Engineer, Instrumentation

Responsibilities

• Lead instrumentation estimation and provide support to the proposals and estimation team
• Review tender documents, ITT/ITB, drawings, and specifications to identify instrumentation scope
• Prepare detailed cost sheets including direct/indirect costs, labor, materials, and equipment
• Prepare and review technical documents including datasheets, P&IDs, loop drawings, and cable schedules
• Float inquiries to suppliers and subcontractors and conduct cost comparisons
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and verify material take-offs
• Negotiate commercial aspects with suppliers and subcontractors
• Contribute to technical proposals and project execution plans
• Mentor and guide junior estimation engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics Engineering
• 8-12 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector
• 3-5 years of specific experience in estimation or tendering
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, materials, and international standards (IEC, ISA, API)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation tools
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications
• Experience with ADNOC or similar Middle East projects preferred
