Senior Estimation Engineer, Electrical

Responsibilities

• Assess tender ITBs, documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Oversee the process of obtaining quotes and proposals from suppliers and subcontractors
• Provide technical insight into HV/MV/LV equipment, substation, and overhead line (OHL) works
• Prepare precise Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed cost sheets
• Review contract and commercial terms and conditions to identify risks
• Conduct cost comparisons between supplier and subcontractor offers
• Generate technical and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements
• Lead negotiations with suppliers on technical and commercial aspects
• Maintain ISO documentation and update supplier data bank records
• Verify material take-off for accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of total experience with 5+ years as an Estimation Engineer
• 5+ years of experience in UAE or Middle East
• Experience in electrical estimation for medium to large scale projects
• Extensive knowledge of local standards (ADNOC, ADDC, AADC, ADM, DEWA, SEWA)
• Proficiency in HV/MV/LV equipment and systems
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
