Our first high-volume manufacturing facility is located in West Virginia, producing iron-air batteries to transform the energy landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Own the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment
  • Define and implement OEE and equipment performance metrics to identify loss drivers
  • Lead equipment-focused improvement projects including mechanical, tooling, and station layout changes
  • Create and maintain CAD designs and drawings to develop hardware solutions
  • Respond to production events with a root-cause, system-level mindset to restore performance
  • Support installation, commissioning, and ramp of new equipment through design reviews, FATs, and SATs
  • Optimize equipment parameters and station configuration in collaboration with production and quality teams
  • Provide hands-on floor support in a high-volume manufacturing environment

Requirements

  • 7+ years of applicable experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment such as furnaces, web/powder handling, mixers, or laminators
  • Demonstrated experience in equipment engineering within a production environment
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues
  • Ability to collaborate across equipment, controls, manufacturing, and quality teams
