About the Company
Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is a 100% employee-owned environmental consulting firm. We plan, design, permit, mitigate, and restore for projects across our communities, infrastructure systems, open spaces, and wildlands.
Responsibilities
- Serve as project manager or contributing author for CEQA and NEPA documents for energy-related projects
- Manage project tasks, budgets, invoicing, and delivery schedules
- Lead marketing and business development pursuits, including preparing scopes of work and proposals
- Provide mentorship and supervision to junior staff
- Lead public outreach efforts relating to environmental review
- Present complex information to clients, agencies, and stakeholders
Requirements
- 20+ years of related professional experience, including consulting
- Proficiency with CEQA and experience with NEPA
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science or a related field
- Strong project management and business development skills
- Experience with renewable energy or electrical infrastructure projects
- Ability to work remotely in California with onsite travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful proposal writing experience
- Experience managing sub-consultants
